  1. Man this is awesome! I mean… like with this video I just l learned in 4 hours what I'm learning in a semester (BTW I'm latin american, my classes are in spanish. This video is so clear that I just understood more in 4 hours than what I had to learn in a whole semester). So nice video!

  2. Question: why does some of the functions that appear colored as red on your PopSQL (like SUM or AVG) often appear to me with the other color of every other SQL text?

  3. Hi Mike Giraffe, huge thanks for your excellent delivery of many useful videos! The best not only for newbies but also the complete reviews

  11. Can you give me answer of following question

    1.Write a PL/SQL block to find the maximum number between the three numbers using %type.

    2.Write a PL/SQL block to check whether the given number is palindrome or not using %row type.

  12. Hey great tutorial. I just found a little inconsistency (no big deal) in the video and in the code.
    Should be select COUNT(emp_id) from employee where sex = 'F' and birth_day > '1970-01-01';
    not birth_date.

  13. When I tried to add values to table works_with i keep getting the following error message "ER_NO_REFERENCED_ROW_2: Cannot add or update a child row: a foreign key constraint fails (`giraffe`.`works_with`, CONSTRAINT `works_with_ibfk_1` FOREIGN KEY (`emp_id`) REFERENCES `employee` (`emp_id`) ON DELETE CASCADE)", does anyone know how to fix it?
    Thank you

  14. how do u add the column in your desired postion. I added another column as u showed but it wasnt where i wanted it to be

  15. I just finished the course 10 minutes ago and it took about about 2 weeks to complete it all.

    I have to say, I feel extremely grateful. The moment I left my pen finishing my notes as Mike closed the tutorial, felt amazing. I believe I built very strong foundation to take the next leap ahead. The course was great, it covered lots of details and if I still had a question, it was so small that a simple Google search or just experimenting was enough to solve it.

    Now as Mike already said, it is a beginners course, which is fine. I feel more than ready to tackle more advanced stuff and I cannot wait to do so in the next few weeks. I feel ready to apply my new SQL knowledge in my favourite languages and take my game a step further.

    I also saw that Mike has lots of other tutorials as well. Something tells me that I will learn more from him soon.
    Thank you so much for creating this course for free and for actually investing your valuable time to teach us.
